TURF COMPLEX RULES & REGULATIONS
The following is provided by the Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks and Recreation Department

To preserve the quality of the Turf Complex and provide a clean, healthy environment the following guidelines must be followed by all players, coaches, spectators, etc. during our usage of the turf complex:

No food, beverages, sports drinks, gum, or seeds “On Turf.” (Water Only)
No glass bottles or containers in the “Turf Complex.”
No metal cleats, only rubber cleats are allowed “On Turf.”
No alteration, defacement, or installation of equipment in the “Turf Complex.”
No dogs or pets of any kind in the “Turf Complex.” (excluding service animals)
No alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, or weapons in the “Turf Complex.”
No tobacco products, smoking or open flame in the “Turf Complex.”
No carts, canopies, umbrellas (not referring to handheld) or spiked objects “On Turf.”
No motorized vehicles or bicycles in the “Turf Complex.”
No unauthorized use of fields, by permit only.
Please do not pick or pull grass fibers or infill on turf fields.

Additionally, during soccer matches, spectators are not permitted to occupy the space immediately behind and to the sides of the goal area of either team, even if outside of the fence behind the goal. On the south side of the fields, this area is obviously meant to be used as a path to and from the parking lot, restrooms, etc. and the far sides of the field. Nevertheless, specators should not linger and view the match from these areas but use this space, which is typically off-limits in other soccer field layouts, as a throughway only.
