About Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association
Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association is a member of Alaska Youth Soccer Association (AYSA) and United States Youth Soccer. It is a not-for-profit Alaskan Organization, allowing tax deductible donations and contributions to the fullest extent of the law. Fairbanks Youth Soccer has a current membership base of over 4,000 youth players, 250 active coaches, 40 referees and many of volunteers through out its organization in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Fairbanks Youth Soccer is organized to provide nonprofit, public, educational soccer development, competition, coaching licensing and training sessions, and UK player clinics. Its leadership is comprised of a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors who represents all parts of Interior, Alaska. The organization currently has a professional staff of 1 full-time employee working out of the Van Horn office just off of Cushman Street.
The Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association is proud to announce the completion of 16-acres of new soccer fields at the Fairbanks North Star Boroughs new South Davis Park. South Davis Park is conveniently located directly across the street from FYSAs 36-acre Wilbur Street Soccer Complex. The 16-acres of new grass field will host 6 full size fields, which are targeted for use in the 2011 season. Long-term plans are to construct a total of 14 new full size fields at South Davis Park.
