Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) is a volunteer organization that includes over 3000 players, ages 4 through 19 years and hundreds more in volunteer coaches and field maintenance workers.  A registration fee is charged to each player.  The fee only partially defrays the basic costs of player uniforms, referees, insurance and some of our field development costs.  We are proud that FYSA is able to provide such a terrific sport to our communitys children at a competitive and affordable price.  Each year as the number of participating children continues to increase we find that our fees fall short of our overall needs to properly maintain, develop and mark the fields, supply goals, nets, balls, etc., as well as to cover several contracted services which FYSA provides.

South Davis Park Facility opens the summer of 2010.  The new growth of these fields will help to meet our increasing needs.  We actively support player and coach development by holding camps and clinics and we continue to run the local High School Soccer Program.  A new in 2009, was added aimed at 4-year old children called the Arctic Kickers.

Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association had a new water well installed near the Wilber St. entrance. The new well has helped us a great deal when trying to water the complex in a timely and thorough manner.  The association has and will continue to repair and extend the fencing around the complex. We are in need of repairing our larger goals and nets. These are a few of our summer 2009 projects. We will be installing new field numbers on each goal and placing field maps at the kiosks at the entrances to the complex to assist parents, players, coaches and spectators with a diagram of the facility.  If all of the FYSA teams were sponsored this summer that would greatly increase our chances of meeting our goals. 

As always, if you would like to help, but can not meet one of the listed packages below, any contribution is appreciated.  We have adjusted the sponsorship levels to make it more affordable to sponsor a single team, multiple teams, teams and advertising banners whatever works best for you.  Just think how great it would be to see a group of excited young people running and having fun with your business logo printed across their uniforms, not just during their games, but all year long! As a non-profit organization we depend on sponsors like you. Without you our program would not be what it is today.

Alaska Youth Soccer 2008 Volunteer of the Year

Congratulations to Brian Luoma who is Alaska Youth Soccer 2008 Volunteer of the year. Brian is the 95 & 97 Phoenix coach, FYSA Board Member and Field Maintenance Coordinator. Many Thanks goes to Brian and his family for their help with FYSA.
