| Fairbanks Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) serves over 3,000 active players in Interior Alaska, ages 4 through 19 years, and is the largest youth organization in the Interior of Alaska. FYSA is a volunteer organization that works with hundreds of volunteer coaches, trainers, referees and field maintenance staff. FYSA actively supports player and coach development by offering soccer camps, soccer clinics, coaching clinics and we continue to administrate the local High School and Middle School Soccer Programs. Soccer has grown in Fairbanks and in order to grow with the needs of the community; FYSA has continued developing their programs by supporting diverse programs throughout the year; along with new player clinics during our long indoor seasons. FYSA has also been working on expanding our outdoor fields to adjust for the influx of new players we receive yearly. During the summer of 2010 we opened the first phase of our South Davis Park outdoor soccer facility. The goal of the FYSA Youth Soccer Program is to develop individual soccer skills, to develop teamwork skills, promote sportsmanship, promote fitness, and to have fun. |
| Your sponsorship to FYSA will help us support all youth in the community who wish to play soccer by offering minimal registration fees; which allows us to lower barriers to reach all interested youth players who want to live an active and healthy lifestyle. The minimal registration fees only partially defrays the costs of facility, programs, field maintenance, referees, insurance, soccer balls and player uniforms. Thus a sponsorship enables us to achieve our community program quality objectives. |
| If all FYSA recreational teams are sponsored this year that would enable us to achieve our community participation and program quality objectives. Any contribution is appreciated. FYSA has adjusted the sponsorship levels to accommodate businesses who wish to sponsor a single team, multiple teams, scholarship individual players, support field development or advertise their business banners at the local soccer fields. |
