On July 19, 2011 the FYSA Board revisited how teams were formed and concluded that ride-shares and attending the same schools will no longer be used. The board has voted to implement middle school zones to be used for team placement which will create the possibility of equal chance of success for all teams involved.
Gym Rental Fees were increased by 30% by the FNSB and went into effect on July 1, 2011 and again in 2012, therefore Fall and Spring participation fees have increased to cover the increased cost.

Players Rostered: Teams are formed by age groups as registrations are received on a first come, first served basis and are placed according to their FYSA Zone by geographic School District. There will be NO request honored. FYSA Zones with too few players or too many players will be divided equally and grouped with nearby Zones. Late registration players are NOT guaranteed placement in their FYSA Zone area. Paid online registrations will receive first priority. Teams may not be formed by coaches and or parents geographically or otherwise Practices: Are one weekday evening for one hour at a local Elementary School in their Team Zone. Games: Are played Saturday between the hours of 9 -5 pm at local Elementary, and Middle schools. Registrations are accepted through September 19th. Late registrations are NOT guaranteed a placement. Registration Deadline 9/19 You can also register at Mt. McKinley Bank, Play It Again Sports and Beaver Sports Must be dropped off / Post Marked before 5 pm on 9/19/12. A $20 late fee will be assessed to all late registrations (all registrations received after September 19, 2012). There will be a $30.00 non-refundable administrative fee charged to all requests for refunds, regardless of the reason. After the second week of the season (October 12th), no refunds will be issued, for any reason. |

Volunteer Coaches: FYSA soccer teams are coached by volunteer parents and community members. To become a volunteer please contact the FYSA office to
complete the background registration that is required by Fairbanks Youth Soccer and Alaska Youth Soccer. Volunteerism is dependent on passing of the background check and availability of
