The U12 division is a developmental soccer program, players are becoming more skilled in their soccer abilities, and are transitioning into learning the style of play that occurs in traditional soccer games. The main emphasis of the program is FUN, and learning the techniques of soccer (dribbling, receiving, passing, attacking, defending, goal keeping, field positions, and fitness). The introduction to more intense and fast paced games, and greater attention to field positions offers new challenges for kids in this age group. There are generally fourteen players on a U12 outdoor team, they play with a #4 ball and goal keepers are used.

U12 teams play twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices take place one evening a week at a local elementary school, the exact day, time and location are determined by the coaches.
