Last year, at the state-level, there were specific Health Mandates and industry specific attachments that were in place which many organizations and programs like FYSA were doing our best to adjust plans and follow as these best-practices and guidelines were released. While those documents are no longer governing our activities, the spirit of them will continue to be utilized as we strive to follow best practices and be mindful of the health of our members and community. There is no formal 2021 'mitigation plan'. Rather, for 2021, many of the same components implemented last year will continue, such as making available sanitizing products for volunteer coaches and adjustments to our field layout to reduce congestion of spectator areas. Spectators are always welcome to wear masks or face coverings. Players who choose to do so will also be allowed, though this will not be a requirement. We ask everyone to please use common sense and minimize contact with others when they are able to do so. Please remember to be respectful of other's space around you. 

If any member does not feel comfortable with summer soccer participation due to COVID-19 matters, we will respect that preference and offer a full refund for their registration. We are a diverse community as it is and our Fairbanks soccer 'family' is no different. Our love for this sport is the common factor that brings us together and we look forward to enjoying the season with any of our members who we will see at the fields. If any FYSA member has questions or concerns, please contact us.
